Aunque los personajes mas pedidos siguen siendo Crash Bandicoot, Rayman y personajes clásicos, alguno que otro sigue pidiendo personajes de anime, otros somos mas realistas.

Por su parte, PETA realizó una petición para que Not a Nugget, se una al roster del Super Smash, diciendo:

“Los emocionantes juegos de defensa de los derechos de los animales de PETA muestran que aplastar el especismo es una lucha que vale la pena. Esa es exactamente la razón por la que nuestra mascota de juegos, ‘Not a Nugget’, sería una adición perfecta a la lista de personajes que aparecen en Super Smash Bros. Último.
