El desarrollo de Madame Web de Sony puede estar más avanzado de lo esperado. Tanto es así que el estudio podría esperar comenzar a rodar cámaras este año. El último informe proviene del experto en cine de superhéroes Charles Murphy, quien sugiere que Sony ya ha reducido el lugar para filmar la película, aunque el cronograma de producción aún está cambiando.

En un tuit esta semana, Murphy escribió que “parece que Sony está planeando poner en marcha Madame Web este año”, antes de agregar “Tener una ubicación, pero aún no hay fechas”.

La película ha estado en desarrollo en Sony durante un par de años, y los rumores sugieren que Sandra Bullock estaba en la mira para el papel. ¡Ella abordó esos rumores de frente en una aparición en Jimmy Kimmel Live! el año pasado dijo que se convertiría en un éxito para su familia si por casualidad conseguía un papel en Marvel.

Si bien Sony no ha confirmado oficialmente la película, el ejecutivo de Sony, Sanford Panitch, ha dicho que hay planes para que Spider-Man de Tom Holland aparezca en franquicias fuera del Universo Cinematográfico de Marvel, como se vio durante los eventos de Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“En realidad hay un plan”, explicó el año pasado. “Creo que ahora tal vez se está volviendo un poco más claro para la gente hacia dónde nos dirigimos y creo que cuando salga No Way Home, se revelarán aún más… Lo bueno es que tenemos esta excelente relación con Kevin.
